PostSubject: A little change and a misunderstanding   Fri Jan 16, 2015 1:48 am

afro

I did my research and after all, Llavero rank means a Shotcaller, specifically in prison. Not on the outside. Before I continue, don't involve the outside rolepaly in it.

I have this idea that I want to share and see what you think. The current ranks of our chain of command were always misunderstood and wrongly used. Heck, most of the time they had no use whatsoever. Not to mention the fact that we're low in numbers and we don't have enough people to fill them. Why don't we cut loose, Tier Reps, Esquineros and a Pisero, instead put a Committee of Shotcallers/Llaveros. For instance, Facundo, Gevorgyan and Bautista to fill the shoes. Below them Camaradas, in other words soldiers who are proven to be trusted and have a good rep on the yard. Camarads will do the dirty work and in the same time they will be the tier reps. One camarada per tier. Mesa will play almost the same role, but in this case they'll be individually representing a carnal. A middleman in between the Llaveros and the Carnals.

To make it clear;

Sureno or not, who go through the system < Camarada, soldier on the yard, has a good reputation < Llavero(Shotcaller) < Meseros, who represent Carnals individually and deliver the exact orders to the Shotcallers < Carnals

It might look like Mesa will loose a control of the yard and a word, but it's not true. They'll still play they role.

Oh, and yeah. The current rank for a Llavero on the outside will be changed to another. Since we don't have so many people to fill in the shoes, we can't hold many ranks as there is. So make it simple, a trusted Camarada who runs and represents a Carnal by himself or through his wife or a relative.

Word. Just gonna put it out there that camarada isn't a rank. It's a loyal associate of the mafia. Pisero, esquinero, bloquero, tier reps are all camaradas, it's just a name of what they are appointed to do. A camarada doesn't have to be anything of the above, he's just loyal and does the bids of the mafia, someone to idolizes the carnales and tries to become a member. Take for example a locote now, if he was on the yard he'd be a sureno. Someone who identifies themselves as a mexican mafia member faction-wise when asked, will be a camarada, when they have been in the faction for the appropriate time. A way to look at it is the Mexican Mafia california wise has three major ranks; Carnal, Camarada and Sureno. Mesero, Llavero, Pisero, Esquinero, Bloquero and Tier Reps are ranks within a facility or yard, but if they were moved to another one it wouldn't hold any weight there.

On the outside it's often like the following;

Carnal, an actual member of the Mafia. Calls major shots, decide what turf to move in on etc.

Facilitator, usually a wife, girlfriend or relative of the carnal. It's easy to explain why the amount of visitations and so on, and the facilitator only communicates with the carnal and crew chief.

Crew chief, he's a camarada that does teh Carnal's bids on teh streets. He enforces eme rules and values in territories that the carnal decides for him to control.

Crew leader, someone that represents the various turfs, to supply drugs, pay the tax and so on, it equals other faction leaders on LS:RP basically.

Crew member - Surenos, bangers members of other factions, who sell the drugs, make sure the crew, or faction maintains their turf and so on.

It's a system where the carnal only communicates with the facilitator and crew chief, no one else. No one talks with anyone they aren't supposed to, going up or down the ladder. WHen carnales enforce the streets it usually goes through a facilitator, by phone, visitation or mail. The crew chief got authority to do whatever he wishes on the streets to tax, collect money and enforce eme law, whatever's deemed necessary.

I think we should only have a Mesero rank or Llavero rank, not both since they are nearly the same in power, although Mesero is directly under Carnal, Llavero has similar powers, personally I think they should merge to just Mesero, then camarada, then surenos. But I do like how we are removing the unnecessary and unfilled ranks, good work.

Problem with that is we'll have 6-7 Mesero's, that's unrealistic and not needed.

Mesero and llaveros remain in place. A meseros responds directly to a carnal, whereas to a llavero works for everyone, and the mesa.

Llavero is not a rank or title at all. It describes anyone that "has the llaves" or "has the keys." It's not a rank in itself. Anyone that has the ability to call shots in a turf or prison yard can be considered a Llavero.
